Baptist Hospital, Middle Tennessee's largest, not-for-profit medical center, has served this region since 1919, consistently offering a wide range of programs and services to meet virtually all medical needs. Baptist provides a combination of professional expertise, state-of-the-art technology, old-fashioned care and compassion.  This grant will support the addition of CPE supervisor to provide opportunity for more clergy and lay people with daytime work to attend Evening Sessions. At the finish of a CPE Session, 90% of participants (18 out of 20) answer questions on the CPE Program Evaluation that they have a 75% improvement in their pastoral skills (ability to show compassion and respond empathetically). At the finish of a CPE Session, 90% (18 out of 20) of all participants self evaluate and write how they have an increased confidence to work regularly with clients in situations of crisis, stress, or grief.
