Campus for Human Development
The Campus is a model of public-private partnership committed to providing enhanced services and improving the system by which these services are delivered. Its mission is to provide programs that emphasize human development and recovery through education, self-help, and work, centered in community and long-term support. It provides community and the following targeted array of programs for the homeless: Room In The Inn: winter shelter through 170 volunteer congregations. Education and Day Services: education and job counseling, case management and access to basic necessities such as food, clothing, showers, work identification, mail delivery and storage for personal belongings. Guest House: social detox, with access to alcohol and drug treatment, for the publicly intoxicated and recuperative care for medically fragile individuals. Odyssey and VA programs: long-term transitional housing and counseling for those in recovery.
