Established in 1962, Catholic Charities provides services to people throughout Middle Tennessee.  The mission statement of Catholic Charities is as follows: Following the example of Christ, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Nashville develops and provides human services which enhance and enrich the quality of life for people in need. Through more than 40 different programs managed by six departments, Catholic Charities assists 30,000 people each year.  This grant will help sustain its Refugee Elders program.    20 of 30 (67%) will feel less isolated, more socially connected, and will be more aware of community services after 6 months as demonstrated by responses on a Likert scale.  27 of 30 (90%) will feel less isolated, more socially connected, and will be more aware of community services after 12 months as demonstrated by responses on a Likert scale.  20 of 30 (67%) will show improvement in English language ability producing a 50% increase in score based on pre and post ELT tests at the end of 12 months.
