Child Advocacy Center for the 23rd Judicial District
Established in 2005, the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) serves the 5 counties of the 23rd Judicial District. The mission of the CAC is to provide a safe and child-friendly Center so that the Multidisciplinary Team Members can provide comprehensive services to children dealing with sexual and physical abuse and their non-offending family members. The grant requested will fund therapy services to the child victims of sexual and/or severe physical abuse. 29 out of 45 (65%) children in therapy will reach 65% of goals set in therapy as measured by the Joseph Picture Self-Concept Rating Scale. 29 out of 45 (65%) of children in therapy will show a 40% overall reduction in symptom severity as measured by the Child Behavioral Checklist (CBCL), and the Teacher Report Form (as needed).
