Since 1983, Hope Clinic for Women is a faith based, safe and confidential place to deal with life choices regarding past, present and future pregnancies. It offers a range of educational, medical and professional counseling services, and material support regardless of age, race or religion, primarily based on a sliding scale. The grant requested in this application will be used to fund the costs for all staff to participate in 4 quarterly guided silent retreats and includes lodging/food, program materials and the cost of the individual spiritual direction at the front and back end of the retreat for each staff person. 8 of 10 staff members will report maintaining (only those with scores in the "high" category) or increasing  Compassion Satisfaction as measured by the PROQOL Version 5.  8 out of 10 staff members will score in the low category of feelings of secondary trauma as measured by the PROQOL Version 5.  8 of 10 staff members will report maintaining or decreasing feelings of Burn Out, as measured by the PROQOL Version 5.
