Hope House, Maury County Center Against Domestic Violence was established in 1989 by the Business and Professional Women's Association.  Its mission is to provide innovative and compassionate direct advocacy, counseling, and shelter services to victims of domestic and sexual violence and it is a leading resource for system change.  The grant requested will be used to fund contract counselors through the Refuge Center for Counseling, travel associated with the counseling, equipment and administrative support.20 out of 32 (64%) will have completed 65% of their treatment plan goals by the end of their time in our counseling program. 20 out of 32 (64%) will show improved mental health through a 10 point increase in their Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF) score from beginning of counseling to the end.  A 10 point increase represents functional improvement, reduction in symptoms and/or impairment and clinical progress following therapy.
