Mercy Community Health Care
Mercy Community healthcare exists to reflect the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing excellent healthcare to ALL and support to their families. Mercy was established in 1999 to provide primary healthcare to uninsured and TennCare children in Williamson County. In 2006, integrated mental and behavioral healthcare was added to the organization. Last year, Mercy experienced over 23,000 patient encounters with children from more than 30 counties in Tennessee; the agency became a FQHC; and the agency acquired a health care clinic for uninsured adults (Grace Medical). Its outcomes for the year include increasing compliance around child immunizations and tobacco counseling, improving the ratio in Net Assets to Expense Ratio from 1.02 to 97, and having 100% of its staff trained in suicidal ideation.
