In 1996, the Nashville Drug Court Support Foundation, NDCSF was incorporated as a 501(c)3 to help the substance abuse problem in our local criminal justice system. Its primary mission is to solicit support for the Davidson County Drug Court Program (DC4), which provides supervision and treatment of non-violent offenders with substance abuse problems, as well as employment and social transition assistance.  The NDCSF serves as a voice to help increase public awareness about the link between substance abuse disorders and crime and effective programs for offender population.  The grant requested in this application will fund a portion of the salary and wages and payroll benefits for a position which serves as a support liaison between the Davidson County Drug Court (DC4), the Davidson County Mental Health Court (DCMHC) and other partnering agencies.18/25 (70%) Mental Health Court intakes will remain in the residential program for at least 90-days and achieve 90-days consistent sobriety.  18/25 (70%) MH Court intakes will demonstrate a reduction in 2 mental health symptoms (i.e.: depression, sadness, hopelessness, loss of interest) prior to graduating from the residential program. 18/25 (65%) MH Court intakes will receive placement in safe appropriate transitional housing and be connected to a continuum of care before graduating from the residential program
