Established in 1984, Park Center restores hope, provides opportunities and promotes recovery of persons with mental illness through holistic services that focus on their needs, choices and strengths.  This grant will support the salary and benefits of a LADAC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor).   60 out of 100 (60%) served will receive a Universal Initial Assessment and Addiction Severity Index (ASI) Assessment.  60 out of 100 (60%) will begin the Hazelden Co-occurring Disorder Program that includes Cognitive-Behavioral, 12-step Facilitation and Motivational Enhancement Therapy courses.  55 out of 100 (55%) will display a positive movement toward reducing relapses and managing their mental illness within the first year through case review, self reporting and drug testing.
