Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee was established as a non-profit in 1984, with the mission of preventing the abuse and neglect of Tennessee's Children. This grant will fund a portion of a family assessment worker’s position. 18 out of 20 (90%) of babies born while in the parent pathways program are drug free at birth. 18 out of 20 (90%) of parents report no drug use at time of infant's birth or during the infant's first year of life.·18 out of 20 (90%) of parents will be compliant with drug treatment plan throughout pregnancy and during the child's first year of life.·18 out of 20 (90%) of the children involved in the program will not enter the foster care system.·240 out of 300 (80%) families receiving assessments for Healthy Start will have contact with an family assessment worker within 24 hours of referral.·213 out of 225 (95%) of home visitors in the Healthy Start program will utilize the completed assessment in the formulation of a service delivery plan for the family.·225 out of 300 (75%) of families will connect with a medical home, to receive primary and preventive care including well baby visits and immunization.
