Established in 1994, the mission of Rocketown is to share Christ's love through creative programs and mentoring relationships that are culturally relevant and eternally significant.  It serves youth primarily 11-20 years old of all races, religions, and socio-economic backgrounds.  It focuses on teens that are at-risk and those who are unchurched, unsupported, and feel isolated and hopeless. It engage kids by attracting them to activities they enjoy. This leads to building personal relationships and fostering community among kids and staff - all based on a biblical world view of acceptance, inclusion and love. The grant requested in this application will be used to fund a counselor, a case manager, supplies, related travel, and will provide funds to assist with providing case management needs.   At least 24 out of 35 counseling participants (70%) scoring 1 (doing adequately), 2 (moderate problems), or 3 (severe problems) during their initial session will improve on the CANS assessment by one level by the end of treatment. At least 9 out of 10 Rocketown staff (90%) will report tools gained for effective youth mentoring via trainings. At least 90% of case management needs will be addressed and met if there is a viable means to do so.
