Transom Grants are for specific projects or programs, which include clear goals, timeframes and measurable outcomes. The Trust currently makes the majority of its grants in this grant program area. Proposals are accepted and reviewed twice annually. In 2010, the Trust will be focused on supporting ongoing programs where strong need and sustainability is demonstrated as well as new programs or expansions where high community need has been documented.
Eligibility Criteria Program proposals will be considered from organizations that benefit the health of individuals in Middle Tennessee. The Baptist Healing Trust strongly emphasizes the importance of loving care within the proposing organization. The Trust issues grants primarily in the following four zones of interest under the umbrella of health:
Physical Health
Mental Health
Recovery from Alcohol or Drug Addiction
Healing from Abuse, Neglect or Violence
