The Baptist Healing Trust now requires that at least one representative from each applicant agency attend a technical assistance workshop prior to submitting a full proposal to the Trust for the Spring 2010 Cycle. Even if a representative has attended previous workshops, someone must attend to be eligible to submit a full proposal for this cycle. (Please note that due to space constraints, we ask that no more than two representatives from any agency attend the workshops.)
If you have never applied to the Baptist Healing Trust (BHT), it is also recommended that you attend the "Introduction to BHT Grants." This is an overview workshop that speaks to the mission, philosophy and guidelines of the Trust and its grant programs. The Intro workshop will also give a brief introduction to the components of the Transom grant application. This workshop will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Center for Nonprofit Management.
All grant applicants must attend one of the technical assistance workshops, "Writing the Program Design, Budget, and Updates." This workshop will be held three times and will cover the online application process, the program design, the budget, the budget justification and evaluation methods. In addition, we will also highlight the changes to BHT grants for 2010. These workshops will be held on January 25, 2010 from 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM, February 3, 2010 from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM, and on February 8, 2010 from 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM.
Please note that all workshops will be held at the Center for Nonprofit Management office unless otherwise noted. For directions to their office, please visit the CNM website at www.cnm.org
