Park Center’s mission is to empower people who have mental illness and substance use disorders to live and work in their communities. Since 1984, Park Center has offered services to help people manage both their mental illnesses and their lives. Park Center offers the following programs: co-occurring services, emerging adults services (ages 18-24), homeless outreach, psychiatric rehabilitation, residential services, and supported employment. The agency’s goals/outcomes for the year include the following: 149 out of 150 persons with psychiatric disabilities will increase knowledge on recovery topics through participation in Illness Management & Recovery (IMR), Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) groups. 15 of 20 persons will increase physical wellness by tracking daily steps through the Recovery Diner program. 31 out of 42 of persons with psychiatric disabilities will increase self-sufficiency by obtaining a job.
