Wilson County CASA Inc


Wilson County CASA, incorporated in 1987, provides trained volunteers who advocate in court for the stability and healthy development of abused and neglected children. The grant requested in this application will be used to fund the salary and payroll benefits and professional development of the Volunteer Coordinator. 165 children out of 300 (55%) of children served by Wilson County CASA be placed with a permanent, stable, nurturing family in six months or less. At case closure, 95% (132 of 139) of cases CASA placement recommendations will be accepted.
By the end of this grant cycle, at least 60 (95%) of 63 trained volunteers will be assigned a child to provide court advocacy to, ensuring his voice is heard in court.
